So confined do I feel
Engulfed in the world that surrounds me
Influenced by the people around me
I long to be free…
My heart is empty
I feel so empty
I see emptiness and feel loneliness
I long to be free…
So consumed with the world
The world of wanting
Nothing solid and all a façade
I long to be free…
I need to be found
My heart is yearning
My soul is burning
I am free…
With hope in my heart
Love in my soul
And God in my spirit
Alas… Free like the birds in the sky soaring
